Associate Degree Programme
Admission to the any of the Associate Degree Programme is based on satisfaction of the following pre-requisites:
1. Caribbean Examinations Council CSEC (Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate) at General or Technical Proficiency:
Five (5) subjects (English and Mathematics are compulsory) at Grades I, II and Ill
Four (4) subjects (English and Mathematics are compulsory)) at Grades I, II and Ill, and at least one (1) year’s work experience in the Hospitality Industry
2. General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCE) Ordinary Level:
Five (5) subjects (English and Mathematics are compulsory) at Grades A, B, and C
Four (4) subjects (English and Mathematics are compulsory) at Grades A, B, and C, and at least one (1) year’s work experience in the Hospitality Industry.
3. Diploma or equivalent qualification providing evidence of successful completion of secondary level courses for international students.
4. Successful completion of the THTI Pre Qualifying Programme
Pre Qualifying Programme
Admission to the any of the Pre Qualifying Programme is based on satisfaction of the following pre-requisites:
Be at least eighteen (16) years of age before the date of application
Pass a basic Math & English evaluation test
Tuition & Fees
All fees are quoted in TT dollars
All Associate Degrees Programmes are 100% GATE approved and funded if eligibility requirements are met. Students with the intention of utilizing GATE funding must signify this upon admission.
While GATE covers 100% of Trinidad and Tobago citizens’ tuition, students are still responsible for annual student administrative fees.
THTI scholarship applications are closed for the 2019/2020 academic year. Please stay tuned for 2020/2021 application dates.

Value & duration
The THTI scholarship covers a full time enrolled student’s annual fee and meals for the academic year.
Who is eligible?
Only high school graduates of 2018 and 2019
Applicants must be sixteen years or older by September 2, 2019 and must be citizens of Trinidad & Tobago
Applicants must be eligible for G.A.T.E funding
Applicants must possess five (5) or more C.S.E.C passes (including Mathematics and English) in grades 1-3 by September 2, 2019
Students must submit a THTI APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION and be ready to start school in September, 2019
