The focus of this programme is on efficient food and beverage service management. Students will be exposed to areas of study such as leadership, customer service and satisfaction, finance, menu design, food industry regulations and guidelines as well as current industry technologies as it relates to food and beverage management.
Applicants can pursue the Associate Degree in Food and Beverage Operations:
Full Time: Two (2) Years or Part Time: Three (3) Years.
Each year is divided into three Semesters.

One of the best parts of getting your degree from THTI is the ability to fulfil your internship at any Sandals Resort anywhere in the Caribbean or at the Business and Hotel Management School in Luzern, Switzerland.
Students, also have the opportunity to fulfill their internship at several local hotels including Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort, Blue Waters Inn, Crown Point Beach Hotel and several others.
Students will be placed in positions which best match their interests and field of study after they have completed the course work.

To be eligible for our degree programme, ONE of the four following criteria must be met:
1. Caribbean Examinations Council CSEC (Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate) at General or Technical Proficiency:
Five (5) subjects (English and Mathematics are compulsory) at Grades I, II and Ill
Four (4) subjects (English and Mathematics are compulsory)) at Grades I, II and Ill, and at least one (1) year’s work experience in the Hospitality Industry.
2. General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCE) Ordinary Level:
Five (5) subjects (English and Mathematics are compulsory) at Grades A, B, and C
Four (4) subjects (English and Mathematics are compulsory) at Grades A, B, and C, and at least one (1) year’s work experience in the Hospitality Industry.
3. Diploma or equivalent qualification providing evidence of successful completion of secondary level courses for international students.
4. Successful completion of the THTI Pre-Qualifying Programme
